The submitted thesis deals with the history of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church, focusing on a detailed analysis of one of its most significant religious community in the Vinohrady district of Prague, from its beginnings in 1920 up to 1950. It spans the first thirty years of its existence within the wider historical context . As all sorts of momentous, sometimes even breakthrough events, assisted to birth a new church, it was necessary to state these events together with the preconditions of its birth. Therefore the volume of the thesis has been extended and more general information from the time preceding the birth of a new church has been included. One individual chapter has been dedicated to the construction of the church building in Prague, the Vinohrady district as I consider that it deserves our adequate attention.

Využití poloparazitických rostlin v sadech a vinohradech
Borowiecki, Ondřej
Hemiparasitic species Rhinanthus minor and Rhinanthus alectorolophus are used in meadow and grassland restoration, where they regulate dominant species by parasitation. This bachelor’s thesis is focused on usage of Rhinanthus minor and Rhinanthus alectorolophus in orchards, and Melampyrum arvense in vineyards and their potential benefits in orchard and vineyard greening. A summary of physiology and ecology of hemiparasitic plants including definition of hemiparasitism is presented. Possible impacts on community where hemiparasites occur are mentioned as well. Agricultural technologies used in orchards and vineyards are summarized, with focus on the most commonly used greening mixtures. Lastly, hemiparasitic growth on orchard plots is evaluated and a greening mixture with hemiparasitic usage in orchards and vineyards is proposed.
Štúdium burín vo viniciach a možnosti zefektívnenia ich regulácie =: Study of weeds in vineyards and possibilities of weed management improvement /
Porčová, Lenka
The impact of the maintenance management of the vineyard on the weed spectrum was evaluated in the first part of the dissertation thesis. Actual weed infestation was assessed by phytoceonological reléves and the obtained data was evaluated using a multidimensional analysis of ecological data (CCA). The largest number of plant species was in the grass-covered inter-space between rows. The smallest number of plant species was in the place below the grapevine. The extraction method was used to evaluate the soil seedbank. The largest number of seeds were found in soil samples from the cultivated inter-space between rows. The most common species of weeds were Amaranthus sp., Portulaca oleracea, Chenopodium album and Stellaria media. Based on the results, we can state that the maintenance management of the vineyard has a statistically significant impact on the actual weed infestation and the soil seedbank. In the second part it was evaluated the efficacy of the different concentrations of herbicides Basta15 and Touchdown quattro on selected weeds. Basta15 had sufficient efficacy at species Bromus hordaceus and Tripleurospermum perforatum. Touchdown quattro had sufficient efficacy at species Arrhenatherum elatius, Bromus hordeaceus, Lolium perenne and Tripleurospermum perforatum. None of the herbicides had sufficient efficacy at Convolvulus arvensis.

The thesis entitled "The Czechoslovak Hussite religious community in Prague's Vinohrady in years 1942-1961" deals with the development of the Vinohrady's religious community within the wider historical development of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church. The introductory part of the thesis deals with the historical preconditions of the birth of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church. Besides the Enlightenment it was particularly a reformist movement of the Catholic clergy in the 19th century, closely connected to Catholic modernism, which was a revivalist movement within the Roman Catholic Church at the turn of 19th and 20th century. The impact of World War I and the break-up of the Austro-Hungarian empire mustn't be omitted, as well as the influx of democracy, humanism and, finally, the turbulent atmosphere at the time of the establishment of the new independent Czechoslovak Republic. The second part of the thesis is focused on the founding of the Czechoslovak Hussite religious community in the Vinohrady district of Prague, its development from the establishment of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church to its recognition by the Czechoslovak Republic. Then follows a general overview of the first twenty years of its existence, at the time of the so-called "First Republic" and at the time of protectorate, with the...
